We have an exciting opportunity in our Adult Day Health Center. We are seeking a part time (20 hours per week) Activity Director/back-up Van Driver. The ideal candidate will assist the Program Leader in the preparation and oversight of activities, daily activity functions of the program and assist in the development of social, educational and recreational programs. Client transport to and from program on an as needed basis is required.
The Adult Day Health Activity Director requires a High School diploma, certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or at least two years of experience working in the social or recreational program within the last five years with one year being in an activity program in a health care setting; CPR and First Aide certification and current valid driver's license with a safe driving record (with no more than one moving violation within the preceding two years) is required. Applicants must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test in addition to being enrolled in a drug consortium for random testing.
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday first shift hours.
