Family Service Association is seeking a full time (40 hours per week) Licensed Master’s level Clinician to join our Family Resource Center staff. The Clinician will conduct trauma-informed intakes, screening, and assessment functions for family members experiencing CRA-related issues. 
This role is located in Fall River, MA with occasional remote option. Starting annual salary is $62,400 and the standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with two 10:30 am -7:00 pm shifts per week. **Some flexibility with the schedule will be necessary as this schedule will change to accommodate clients' clinical needs. 

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Must have a willingness and ability to work with the SED, DMH and DCF populations.
  • Arrange for the collection of relevant information regarding the family’s story, current situation, and family strengths and needs.
  • Responsible for completing the modified CANS as well as other identified supplemental behavioral needs assessments
  • Oversee the development of the Family Support Plan and provide ongoing supervision and case management oversight to the Family Partner.
  • Fulfill reporting requirements of the department as well as required FRC documentation
  • Work with all Family Members who are involved with the FRC; however, Family Members experiencing CRA-related issues are prioritized for services.
  • Provide clinical support to other FRC staff.
  • Make referrals to other resources, agencies, clinics and hospitals as needed.
  • Facilitate FRC family and youth groups.
  • Assess immediate risk for safety of youth and/or family and coordinate resources for stabilizing that risk.
  • Understand and demonstrate commitment to agency mission, values, and philosophy in performing skills specific to role.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends to meet the needs of the child and family.
  • Maintain all ethical and legal requirements of the Agency.
  • Meet with the Program Manager for supervision as needed.
  • Maintains standards of confidentiality
  • Focuses on understanding and meeting family needs.
  • Maintains positive work relationships in a respectful and collaborative manner.
  • Maintains good communication with others ensuring others have necessary information.
  • Actively works toward organizational improvement and professional growth.

Education and Experience:

  • Must be a MA LICSW or LCSW with a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Master’s Degree in Counseling/Psychology or a related field with an LMHC from an accredited school. 
  • Must have three years of experience as a licensed clinician.
  • Must have skills necessary to engage and work with others from diverse backgrounds. 
  • Maintain a non-judgmental attitude toward families.
  • Maintain required licenses and certifications to perform role.  Must have experience working with children and families.
  • Experience in navigating any of the child/family-serving systems and experience advocating for family members who are involved with behavioral health systems. 
  • Must be certified in the Massachusetts CANS.
  • Required to drive a personal vehicle on FRC business.  Must have acceptable MVR, and appropriate insurance coverage.
