Family Service Association is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide consultation services for our Seaview Adult Day Health (ADH) program in Mashpee, MA. In this role, you will provide one on-site consultation visit, as determined by Department of Health Adult Day Health regulations, to help meet the individual dietary needs of enrolled participants.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced RD looking to supplement their current practice with a flexible, low-hour consulting role in a mission-driven organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and adults with disabilities!

Position Details:

1 hour on site in Mashpee, MA once every 7 weeks (determined by Department of Health Adult Day Health regulations)
Flexible schedule
Starting consultation rate: $225 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide on-site visit to Adult Day Health as determined by Department of Health Adult Day Health regulation
Ensuring dietary services are provided and the nutritional needs of participants are met
Providing, as applicable, consultation and training to the qualified cook regarding dietary personnel, food production, service procedures, maintenance of records, training programs, and sanitation
Providing consultation and education to staff regarding the nutritional requirements of participants, meal service, distribution, sanitation, and disaster dietary plans
Evaluating and approving the nutritional adequacy of the menus as planned, as applicable

Education and Experience:

Active, unrestricted Registered Dietician (RD) license in Massachusetts is required.
Experience working with disabled and older adult population a plus.

**Must be able to successfully complete a MA State CORI check & CPS check.**
